Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the character definitions and presentation methods of the New-Tro style through a study on the decoration and facilities of representative restaurants. Now Korean restaurants have a variety of categories and styles, focusing on how to show the New-Tro style in different styles. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the New-Tro style and to understand how the interior style of the target orthodox restaurant is presented in this space. This study has examined the concept of restaurant interior style by referring to professional books, related literature, publications and papers published at home and abroad. Also, four cases were chosen in the Jongno area to investigate restaurant space styles. Through case studies and photography, we look into the internal structure and the current status of the restaurant’s style.
