연시조 관점에서 본 황윤석의 ˂木州雜歌˃ 28수

Abstract

본 논문은 18세기 호남학자인 頤齋 黃胤錫의 <木州雜歌> 28수에 관한 연구이다. 기왕의 연구에서는 작가의 삶과 작품을 연관 지어, 작품의 진행에 따라 변화하는 주제에 초점을 맞추면서 <목주잡가>의 성격을 파악하였다. 그러나 이러한 연구의 대부분은 <목주잡가>를 유기체적 구조물인 연시조로 바라보는 데는 미흡하다. 이에 본고는 연시조로서 <목주잡가>의 특성을 파악하는데 초점을 맞추었다. <목주잡가>가 연시조가 되기 위한 큰 전제는 3단 구성에서 찾을 수 있다. 그러므로 제Ⅱ장에서는 3단 구성을 바탕으로 <목주잡가> 28수의 면면을 먼저 검토하였다. 즉 <목주잡가> 28수는 서사 6수, 본사 20수, 결사 2수로 구성되었다. 주지하다시피 <목주잡가>는 황윤석이 그의 나이 51세에 목천 현감을 제수받고 목천에서 머무는 동안에 창작한 작품이다. 따라서 서사에서는 자신을 목천 현감에 命한 君恩에 대한 감사를 노래한다. 본사에서는 목천에서 머무는 동안 작자의 다양한 생각을 노래하는데, 가정과 가문에 대한 자부심과 함께 자신의 학문과 이념 등을 노래하고, 결사에서는 자신의 임무를 다짐하면서 전체적인 詩想을 마무리한다. Ⅲ장에서는 <목주잡가>의 연작성과 함께 작품적 의미를 검토하였다. 앞서 언급했듯이 <목주잡가>는 크게는 서사, 본사, 결사의 3단 구성을 하고 있으며 본사는 내용에 따라 다시 4개의 단락으로 구분된다. 결사는 詩想을 마무리함과 동시에 首尾雙關의 구조를 띠면서 <목주잡가>가 연시조의 면모를 갖추는데 한몫하고 있다. 이와 같이 연시조로서 <목주잡가>의 가능성을 타진하였다.

This paper is a study of Yijae(頤齋) Hwang. Yun-seok(黃胤錫)’s 28 works of <Mokjujapga 木州雜歌>, he is a Honam(湖南) scholar in the 18th century. In his research, he tried to understand the character of <Mokjujapga> by focusing on the subject that changes as the work progresses, linking the writer's life to his work. Therefore, the main focus of this paper was on identifying the characteristics of <Mokjujjapga> as the first of its kind. The first condition for <Mokjujjapga> to become Yeonsijo can be found in the three-stage configuration. Therefore, based on this three-stage structure, Chapter II analyzed 28 works of <Mokjujjapga>. The 28th number in <Mokjujapga> was composed of the First(序詞) of 6 works, the Middle(本詞) of 20 works, and the End(結詞) of 2 works. As it is known, <Mokjujapga> was created by Hwang Yun-seok, who became the head of Mokcheon(木川) at the age of 51, while staying in Mokcheon. Therefore, at First, he sang a song of thanks to the king who appointed himself as the head of Mokcheon. In the Middle, while staying at Mokcheon, he sang his various thoughts. They are the pride of their family and family, their own academics and ideology. At the End, he concludes the whole story while vowing his mission. Chapter III reviewed the meaning of the work, along with the series of works by the <Mokjujapga>. As mentioned earlier, <Mokjijapga> is largely composed of three stages: the First, the Middle, and the End, and the Middle is divided into 4 paragraphs according to the content. At the End organizes the emotions of the work, and also the structure of Sumissangkwoan(首尾雙關). As a result, <Mokjujapga> plays a role in making the appearance of Yeonsijo. In this way, as YeonSijo, I explored the possibility of <Mokjujapga>.
