Abstract

It`s very difficult to predict the future of design industry in the new millennium. Because the technical skill is changing so fast. The technical skill has been accelerated by software & hardware of computer sysytem. Consumers, makers and customers... most of people would be changed their mind. Also, surrounding environment should be changed. Fields of package design should be influenced by such surrounding elements and we have to prepare to developt the package design from where it stands. Package design have to prepare for the welfare of society`s future. Specially, fields of package design had been not recognized enough in Korea although the package design is the best tool to establish effective brand power. But this way should be known widely by the communication tool with computers. And so fields of package design would be so busy. A lot of practical design works for a good brand and well designed package would be done by computer program in the future society. Thus, the computer will solve the big problem and replace the band works. Package designers need to prepare to work with growing package industry. Package design is not only a part of support of goods inside but also it is a main part of powerful brand. Package design is one of product. Package design should not be treated such as an support in order to grow up in the competitve sharp market. All most people around our society desire to solve a lot of requirement in the future by package designers. And so package designers have to expand their domain of works with ultratechnology equipments. After then industry of package design would be extend in the future.
