남북 역사 분야 전문용어의 이질화 양상

Abstract

이 연구는 남북 역사 분야 전문용어의 이질화 양상을 고찰하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 남북역사 교과의 전문용어를 분석하는 이 연구는, 궁극적으로 남북 용어를 통합하는 방안을 마련하여 용어를 표준화하고 남북 통합 교육과정의 효율성을 도모하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 최종 목표를 위하여 이 연구에서는 남북 역사 교과서에서 사용되는 용어를 중심으로 남북 용어의 이질화 양상을 살펴보았다. 역사적 인물과 관련된 용어에서는 남북측이 동일하게 사용하는 용어가 가장 많았고, 두음 법칙에 따른 차이를 보이거나 남북측이 서로 다른 형태의 용어를 사용하는 경우도 있었다. 역사적 사물과 관련된 용어는 도구, 무덤, 탑, 불상, 유적지 등에서 차이가 두드러졌다. 역사적 사건과 관련된 용어에서도 차이를 보였는데, 북측은 투쟁 중심의 역사를 강조하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 교과서 내용이나 분량 면에서도 북측이 남측보다 역사적 사건이 비중 있게 다루어지고 있고, 남측에서 ‘난’ 또는 ‘운동’으로 표현되는 사건들을 북측에서는 ‘투쟁, 전쟁, 폭동’ 등으로 표현하고 있는 경향을 볼 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the heterogeneity of terminology in North and South Korea History. This study, which analyzes the terminology of North and South Korea history curriculum and examines the heterogeneous pattern, ultimately aims to standardize terminology and improve the efficiency of North and South Korea integrated curriculum by preparing an integrated plan of North and South Korea terms. For this final goal, this study examined the heterogeneity of North and South Korea terminology, focusing on terms used in North and South Korea history textbooks. In terms related to historical figures, there were cases where North and South sides were the same, showed differences according to Initial law, and North and South sides used different forms of terms. Terminology related to historical objects differed significantly in tools, tombs, towers, Buddha statues, and historical sites. Differences in terms related to historical events also appeared, with the North appearing to emphasize a struggle-oriented history. In terms of textbook content and volume, the North side is dealing with historical events more heavily than the South side, and the events that are expressed as ‘nan’ or ‘movement’ on the south side are called ‘fight, war and riot’ on the North side.
