In non-cooperative contexts, the interleaver parameter used in a transmitter should be estimated using only the received data. This paper proposes a simple estimation method of the interleaving period by comparing the distributions of `1' bit ratios between the row and column vectors in matrices composed of the received data. We utilize the property that the distribution of `1' bit ratios of the row vectors differs from that of the column vectors because of the linear property of an error correction code. We validate the proposed method in terms of detection probability through Monte Carlo simulations.en_US
