- Abstract
- This study was to analyze the blood vessel elasticity by age and sex in a metropolitans to provide basic data which can be used to evaluate the healthiness of blood vessel. To do this, we take a random sample of 460 people from D metropolitan area were randomly selected to obtain the blood vessel elasticity by age and sex. First, the risk level of left foot blood vessel elasticity was higher (56%) in the age of 70s of men compared to other age groups (i.efound that while men in their 70s (56%) have the highest level, followed by the order of 60s (38%), 40s (31%), and 50s (28%), women in their 60s (31%), followed by the order of 40s (29%), 50s (26%), and 70s (24%). Second, concerning the test result of risk level of right foot blood vessel elasticity, it is found that while men in their 70s (55%) have the highest level, followed by the order of 60s (38%), 50s (36%), and 40s (29%), women in their 60s (34%), followed by the order of 40s (28%), 70s (26%), and 50s (21%). Third,it is found that 37% of the men and 28% of the women chosen show higher risk level, as for the test result of risk level of left foot blood vessel elasticity by sex, while 39% of the men and 28% of the women chosen show higher risk level in the test of right foot. Fourth, in case of the test result of risk level and limit of blood vessel elasticity, 60% of the men and 50% of the women are found to be in higher level. Fifth, regarding the test result of risk level of left and right foot blood vessel elasticity by age and sex, it is found that 32% of the men and women chosen show higher risk level, while 55% show higher risk level and limit. Based on the results mentioned above, we conclude that metropolitans have relatively lower level of blood vessel healthiness.
