대학생의 자기가치감 수반성과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 실수에 대한 염려 및 우울의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 자기가치감 수반성의 하위요소 중 우월성과 타인승인이 대학생활적응의 관계에서 실수에 대한 염려 및 우울이 매개역할을 하는지 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자기가치감 수반성 척도, 대학생활 적응, 실수에 대한 염려, 우울 척도를 사용하여 대학생 479명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고, 불성실한 응답을 제외한 총 460명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 방법은 변인간 상관분석 및 측정모형과 구조모형 검정을 통해 가설을 검증하였으며, 매개변인 분석을 위해 부트스트랩(Bootstrap)을 실시하였다. 연구분석 결과 자기가치감 수반성은 실수에 대한 염려를 매개하여 대학생활 적응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자기가치감 수반성 중 타인승인은 실수에 대한 염려뿐만 아니라 우울도 매개변인으로 작용하여 대학생활 적응에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 예측 변인들의 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 자기가치수반성의 타인승인과 우울이 대학생활 적응에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다. This study was conducted to test the mediation effect of concern over mistakes and depression between contingencies of self-worth(superiority and others’ approval) and college adaptation. For this study, 460 college students were recruited. The data was analyzed to identify relationship between contingencies of self-worth(superiority and others’ approval), college adaptation, concern over mistakes and depression. And structural equation modeling were performed to analyze the path relationship between variables. Findings of the current study were as follows. First, concern over mistakes was mediated the relation of contingencies of self-worth(superiority and other"s approval) and college adaptation. Second, self-worth(other"s approval) was found to have a negative effect on college adaptation. Third, it was confirmed that contingencies of self-worth(other"s approval) and depression had a significant influence on college adaptation. Finally, implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
