Abstract
Light is one of the most important architectural elements that recognize space. In general, the exhibition space is more emphasizing the qualitative aspect along with the quantitative aspect of natural light, unlike the architecture for other purposes. Because museums have the most complicated lighting criteria of common building types. A stable lighting environment for visitors and artifacts should be guaranteed within the exhibition areas of museums. However, the use of natural light in the exhibition space presents many difficulties for the preservation and effective exhibition of exhibits. Especially, the fading and damage of exhibits due to direct sunlight and ultraviolet light makes it difficult to use natural light in the exhibition space. Recent technologies have been providing supportive tools that facilitate building data retrieval, modeling, energy and light simulation. In this research ,Grasshopper parametric software was used to simulate shadow and daylight conditions, and Ladybug and Honeybee plug-ins were used to provide the best exhibition suitable light environment and natural light experience program. The results show that through the exploration, testing and verification of related technologies, daylight can be adjusted and controlled through different space forms and window forms, and the best reflector can be designed for it to create the most suitable light environment.
