dc.description.abstractSimulated Moving Bed (SMB)의 최적화는 분리성능을 보장하기 위해서 필요한 매우 중요한 연구분야이다. 이 연구에서 여러 가지 구조의 SMB 시스템을 최적화하기 위해 다양한 최적화 방법을 도입했다. 첫 번째 파트에서는, 세 아미노산 즉, 글라이신, 페닐알라닌, 그리고 트립토판을 분리하기 위해 2-zone SMB와 5-zone SMB를 분리에 적용하고 비교했다. 5-zone SMB를 최적화하는 데는 safety margin method를 사용한 반면에, 2-zone SMB에는 단일 목적함수를 갖는 유전자 알고리즘을 사용했다. 최적화 결과, 5-zone SMB의 성능이 2-zone SMB에 비해 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 두 번째 파트에서는, 이성분의 당을 분리하기 위한 레진(resin)인 Dowex resin과 MFG resin을 다중 최적화 작업을 수행했다. 이 파트에서는 Elitist nondominated sorting genetic algorithm with jumping gene adaptation (NSAG-II-JG)가 최적화 알고리즘으로 채택되었다. 유전자 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 elitism이 약간 수정되었으며, repairing strategy도 도입되었다. 최적점에서의 순도를 비교해 본 결과, MFG 레진이 SMB를 구성하는데 더 적합하고, 더 높은 순도의 생산물을 얻을 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.; The optimization of simulated moving bed (SMB) is very important part of its research area to guarantee separation performance. In this study, various optimization methods were adopted to optimize several configurations of SMB. In order to separate ternary amino acid mixture, which are glycine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan, five-zone and two-zone SMB systems were applied and compared in the first part. The safety margin method was selected as optimization method of five-zone SMB, while the genetic algorithm which has single objective function was applied to optimize two-zone SMB. As a result of optimizations, the performance of five-zone SMB is better than two-zone SMB respect to the purity. In second part, multi-objective optimization was conducted and compared the optimization results of Dowex and MFG reins for the separation of binary sugar mixture. Elitist nondominated sorting genetic algorithm with jumping gene adaptation (NSGA-II-aJG) was adapted as an optimization algorithm in this part. To improve the performance of algorithm, elitism was modified slightly and repairing strategy was applied within genetic algorithm. The comparison results at optimal points show that the MFG resin is better than Dowex resin to develop four-zone SMB system.-
