수학불안 요인 분석 및 감소방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

오늘날 수학은 모든 학문의 바탕이 되는 과목으로 사회적으로 수학의 중요성이 증대되어 감에도 불구하고 다수의 학생들은 수학을 어렵고 재미없을 뿐 아니라 쓸데없는 학문으로 잘못된 인식을 하고 있는 경우가 많다. 따라서 수학을 잘 할 수 있는 많은 학생들조차도 수학을 기피하고 수학성취가 부진하여 수학교과가 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 계열선택이나 직업을 선택하는데 있어서 많은 제한을 받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 통해 수학불안의 정의를 규명하고 수학불안 요인을 수학에 대한 부정적인 진술, 수학 교재의 서술 양식, 교사의 권위, 수학 기초 기능의 결여와 누적, 수학의 추상성, 수학의 언어 및 구조, 수학학습 동기로 나누어 제시하였다. 이를 토대로 수학불안 감소를 위한 대처 방안을 모색하고, 학습지도안을 작성해보았다. 그 결과로 학생들에게 긍정적인 경험을 제공해 줌으로써 수학에 대한 긍정적이고 적극적인 탐구 자세를 가지게 하여 학생 스스로 수학에 대한 흥미와 지속적인 관심을 갖게 하여 수학불안을 줄이는데 목적이 있다.; Today, in spite of the importance society places on mathematics, many students avoid mathematics because they find it difficult and uninteresting. Therefore, even students with mathematical abilities will tend to avoid mathematic studies, Mathematics is not glamorous and accomplishments in the field are dull. This thesis aims to analyze the primary factors mathematical anxiety into seven categories : the negation statement against mathematics, description form of mathematics teaching material, authority of teacher, lack and accumulation of mathematics fundamental function, abstraction characteristic of mathematics, language and structure of mathematics, mathematics studying motive. It groped the disposal plan for mathematics anxiety decrease with the base which will reach the studying map drawing up which will hold it tried. The ultimate purpose of the thesis lies in the promotion of positive and active attitude toward mathematics to increase the efficiency of learning, and also in encouragement for learners themselves to develop continuing interest in mathematics.
