차량모델별 손상성·수리성과 수리비 및 손해율의 상관성 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 자동차보험 자기차량손해담보에 대한 차명모델별 요율차등화 제도의 주요 평가기준으로 사용되고 있는 손상성·수리성, 차량수리비 통계, 손해율 통계간의 상관분석을 통해 궁극적으로 수리비 경감을 위해 자동차 제작사로 하여금 설계 개선을 유도하도록 하기 위한 최선의 요율차등화 제도의 효율적인 운영방안을 모색하고자 한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 우선 손상성·수리성지수와 수리비 실적과의 관계를 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였으며, 양 데이터 간의 이상치 데이터를 진단, 동 이상치를 제거한 후의 관계를 추가적으로 분석하였다. 그리고 마지막으로 현재 요율차등화의 평가기준으로 이용되고 있는 손해율과 수리비와의 관계를 고찰하였다. 연구 결과 손상성·수리성과 평균수리비 실적과는 상관관계가 강하게 나타나 밀접한 상관성을 보이는 것으로 분석되었으며, 두 요소간의 이상치를 분석한 결과 쌍용자동차 모델들이 높은 구성비를 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타났고 수리비 지수도 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이상치를 제거한 후 상관성은 이전보다 상당히 높아져 쌍용차 모델 등 이상치 데이터에 대한 관리의 중요성이 대두되었다. 현행 요율차등화 제도의 기준으로 사용되는 손해율과 수리비와의 상관관계는 매우 낮은 것으로 나타나 향후 자동차제작사의 수리비 경감화 역할을 유도하기 위해서는 실제수리비 실적과 관계성이 높은 손상성·수리성지수를 많이 반영할 수 있도록 제도개선이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.; This paper suggests effective method for reducing repair costs by improving the design of automobiles. We analyze the correlation for damageability/repairability, repair cost and loss ratio according to automobile model types. Firstly, relationship between damageability/repairability and repair costs was investigated by simple linear regression. In addition, outliers from simple linear regression are detected by model diagnosis. Second, relationship between damageability/repairability and repair costs after eliminating the outliers was reanalyzed. Analysis results showed that damageability/repairability and repair costs have strong relationship. It was proved that monitoring for the outliers representing Ssangyong motor's data is crucial. Finally, relationship between repair cost and loss ratio as the standard for currently group rating system is not significant. In order to induce car-makers to reduce the repair cost by improving the design of new models, it is necessary that damageability/repairability highly related to repair cost should be recommended more than loss ratio in the group rating system in the future.
