Abstract
Owing to epoch-making information technology development, the various mobile phones combined with others functions and instruments are now crating communication culture between the moderners. Many functions on mobile phone can work with consumers' personal computers in the past. But it can be feasible with consumers' mobile phones. Mobile phones whose the various functions focused on the digital convergence. but the many functions made users more complicated. Due to such problems, mobile phones are required to be designed with simple and easy usage. In using mobile phones by users, mobile user interface is regarded as a major issue. It is can be more effective, through users' experience As the volume of mobile phones sales designed by considering users' sensations have increased, mobile phone makers are thinking of products interfaced by considering users' sensations as a successful key word. That is to say, mobile phones designed by users' sensational stimulation make comsumers' response, It is very difficult to make products with technologies and functions. Users are making a denial of using the mobile phones of complicated functions, they prefer simple design and functions to complicated usage. The functions of the existing mobile phones were designed based on only external form. Recently, mobile phone makers are focusing on Graphic User Interface(GUI). By such digital environment changes, this paper concentrates on sensational communication by using story telling between users and mobile phones. It also aims at the functional value of goods, and consumers' satisfaction, not simple GUI using the existing icon. This article examined story telling and sensation on GUI and the case of mobile phone makers. Based on analysis result, it suggested sensational GUI by story -telling. Unlike the existing stereotyped forms, this study seeks for a possibility to be designed with user-oriental GUI by using story-telling, with more advanced design than users expected.
