dc.description.abstractAn improved total synthesis of trans-dihydronarciclasine is reported, highlighted with efficient B-ring lactam unit assembly, permitted by the early stage incorporation of ester functionality. Overall, the tile compound was prepared from 3,5-dibromo-2-pyrone in 20% total yield over 8 steps, more efficient than our previous synthesis completed in 16% total yield over 11 steps. ◁그림삽입▷(원문을 참조하세요)-
