중학교 기하영역에 관한 연구

Abstract

기하학은 고대부터 현대에 이르기까지 인류의 생활에 직접적인 영향을 끼치고 있는 학문 중 하나이다. 하지만 학생들의 인지발달 수준과 현재 학교에서 진행되고 있는 기하교육의 수준에는 약간의 차이가 생기게 되는데 이로 인해 학생들은 기하학을 어렵고, 흥미없는 과목이라 인식하고 있다. 기하학은 수학적 이해와 사고 능력을 확장시킬 수 있는 중요한 도구라 할 수 있는데, 학생들의 기하학의 실패는 전반적인 수학의 실패로 이어질 수 있다. 따라서 학생들의 수준에 맞는 기하학 교육의 필요성이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 Van Hiele의 이론을 토대로 하여 학생들의 기하학 수준에 대해 알아보고, 학생들의 수준변화를 알아봄으로써 보다 효과적인 기하학습 방법을 개발함으로써 학생들이 기하학에 대한 흥미를 높이고 기하 능력 신장에 도움이 되고자 한다.; Geometry is one of sciences which influence our life from ancient times to modern. But a some differences between student's intellectual level and geometry education in the middle school causes students to think of geometry as difficult and an interesting subject. Geometry is a useful tool for developing mathematical understanding and thinking. In addition failing understand geometry leads to a failure in understanding mathematics. Therefore a geometry education of suitable for student's level is needed. In this thesis, on the basis of Van Hiele's theory we investigate student's geometry level and a variations of student's level we develop a method of objective geometry education, enhance student's interests and contribute to students' geometry understanding.
