촉각방송의 특허기술동향에 관한 조사연구

Abstract

촉각방송에 대한 특허동향 분석 결과 촉각방송은 현재 태동기에 있는 것으로 보이며, 촉각방송의 기본적인 개념에 대한 특허출원이 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. 촉각방송과 관련한 전반적인 특허동향을 살펴볼 때 보다 현실적인 촉각방송이 가능하기 위해서는 세부적인 기술개발이 요구되는 것으로 보인다. 촉각방송에 대한 포괄적이고 개념적인 특허의 획득은 쉽지 않을 것으로 판단되나, 촉각방송을 이루는 세부 기술 요소, 특히 햅틱 정보와 영상 정보의 전송 기술, 햅틱 정보의 편집과 저작 기술에 대해서는 향후 추가적인 기술 개발을 통해 햅틱 방송의 표준화를 대비하여야 할 것이다. 또한, 수신측에서 구비하여야 하는 햅틱 장치의 경우에도 방송망, 네트워크 망 등에서 촉각 방송 수신에 가장 적합한 형태가 무엇인지에 대한 연구개발이 요구된다 할 것이다.; According to analyzation for the patent trend of haptic broadcasting, it is found that haptic broadcasting is on the beginning step and patent applications about the basic concept of haptic broadcasting exist. Research and development in detail is required to accomplish more realistic haptic broadcasting. It is not easy to allow expansive and conceptual patent. But it is required to develop the details of technical element composing haptic broadcasting, especially transmitting technology of haptic and video information, editing and authoring technology of haptic information. We are to prepare the standardization of haptic broadcasting through it.
