dc.description.abstract | The absorbents: silica, molecular sieve, polystyrene sulfonic acid and PVA have been newly examined to remove ambient moisture present in the air stream. For the application of total energy exchange, efficiency of latent heat by enthalpy wheel of commercial product is considered. Firstly, the velocity of adsorption and desorption to variation of weight about time under the room condition in summer is studied. Those are calculated to obtain diffusion coefficient of adsorption and desorption when adsorption reaches half saturation. Secondly, the heat of adsorption is calculated using Clausius-Clapeyron equation. A saturated amount of adsorption was measured when weight of adsorbent was maintained to be constant at respective temperature and injected vapor pressure in MSB. To determine efficiency of heat exchanger, that information is importantly considered. | - |
