- Abstract
- To predict the lifespan of the laminated composites with model based
on the Accelerate Test Methodology (ATM) and Time-Temperature
Superposition Principle (TTSP), the Constant Strain Rate (CSR) test
should be performed firstly to get the young’s modulus (E) and
average value of the strength which is the basic for creep and fatigue
test. In this thesis, we performed CSR test with Non-Crimp-Fabrics
(NCF) composite materials at different temperatures (here we select
25oC, 50oC, 80oC, 110oC) in order to get the young’s modulus (E)
and average value of the strength at each temperatures. Here NCF
composites in this thesis consist of four different types: unidirectional
longitudinal composites, unidirectional transverse composites, biaxial
composites and triaxial composites. Mean while we did the pure resin
test using with respected temperatures, with the resin test data and the
NCF composite test data, the long time property of the composites
can be determined by the further Creep and Fatigue test which can
use ATM to accelerate the testing process.
