Abstract
현재 급변하는 환경으로 인해 기술 발전 과정에서 엄청난 비용과 시간 소요가 필요하게 되면서 기술 개발의 정체와 경쟁의 첨예화가 발생되었다. 또한 기존에 없는 완전한 새로운 제품 및 서비스의 창출은 점점 힘들어지고 있는 상황이다. 그러한 문제점을 해결하고자 다양한 제품, 사업분야에서 이미 검증된 기술, 아이디어 등을 재조합하여 새로운 가치를 효과적으로 창출하는 ‘컨버전스’가 새롭게 등장하였다. 이제는 멀티미디어 기기의 디지털 컨버전스를 토대로 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC 등의 다양한 디바이스가 구현됨으로써, 기존의 기기에 쉽게 연결할 수 있는 방법이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지의 디바이스를 System Switch Fabric으로 연결하여 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 그에 호환하는 인터페이스를 설계하고자 한다. 다양한 접속방식 중에서 USB(Universal Serial Bus)를 선택하여 그것의 전송방식에 대해 알아보고, USB 디바이스를 기존의 FPGA 칩에 병렬 접속할 수 있도록 하기 위한 호스트 컨트롤러를 제어했고, Avalon-MM Tristate Interface를 통해 USB 인터페이스를 설계 하였다. 그 후 회로도와 VHDL을 개선하여 효율적인 USB 접속 방법을 구현하였다. |Recently owing to rapidly changing environment, it takes a lot of cost and time to process some technical projects, which causes congestion of innovative technology exploitation and sharp competition. Also it is becoming more and more difficult to create completely new products which haven't existed until now. In various business field, to solve these problems, the convergence has emerged, which combines the ideas and proven technology and then creates new value effectively. Now Since various devices such as smart phone and table PC were fabricated based on the digital convergence of the multimedia device, we come to know that the way to easily connect to the existing device is needed. In this thesis, to make several devices connected to the System Switch Fabric and that service used easily, a variety of interface design were discussed. USB is chosen from various synchronize access interfaces, its transfer method is searched, host controller is controlled, which can allow USB device to parallel access to the existing FPGA chip, and USB interface is designed via the Avalon-MM Tristate Interface.
