Abstract
주요개념어 : 간호대학생, 자아탄력성, 자기효능감, 학과만족도 |ABSTRACT Influence of Ego-Resilience and Self-efficacy on Department Satisfaction of Nursing Student Kim, Duck Jin Department of Nursing The Graduate School Hanyang University Directed by Professor Lee, Jeong Seop, RN. PhD This study is a descriptive correlational analysis performed to verify the effects of ego-resilience and self-efficacy on department satisfaction. It will provide the baseline data for developing nursing programs that will improve nursing students' department satisfaction. The subjects were 275 nursing students in seoul. The data were collected from December 3 to December 20, 2012. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and scheffe’s post-hoc test, pearson‘s correlation and multiple regression with enter method using the SPSS 21.0 Program for Windows . The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1) The mean scores for ego-resilience, self-efficacy and department satisfaction of the nursing students were 3.38(±0.52), 3.33(±0.50) and 3.64(±0.56) respectively. There were significant positive correlations between ego-resilience and self-efficacy, between ego-resilience and department satisfaction, between self-efficacy and department satisfaction. 2) The ego-resilience of the nursing students was significantly different by their age(F=5.49, p<.001), school system(t=-5.57, p<.001), choice motivation(F=2.71, p=.031) and relationship with friends(t=-3.05, p=.003). The self-efficacy of the nursing students was significantly different by their age(F=4.51, p=.002), school system(t=-4.49, p<.001), academic performance(F=4.95, p=.002) and relationship with their friends(t=-3.14, p=.002). The department satisfaction of the nursing students was significantly different by their age(F=3.24, p=.013), school system(t=4.22, p<.001) and choice motivation(F=4.74, p=.001), but it was not significantly different by their sex, religion, academic performance and relationship with their friends. 3) The factors which affected department satisfaction are, in the order of significance, as follows. Optimistic attitude among the ego-resilience (β=.56, p<.001), associate course(β=.38, p<.001), suitability for personality among the choice motivations(β=.17, p<.001), social self-efficacy(β=.14, p=.039), high employment guarantee among the choice motivations(β=.12, p=.033). All the variables mentioned above explained 36% of department satisfaction of the nursing students. By the results and the discussions, this study’s suggestions are as follows. 1) It is necessary to repeat the study with an expanded number and scope of subjects in order to increase nursing students' interest in department satisfaction and to generalize the results. 2) It is necessary to develop measurement tools for department satisfaction, which are suitable for Korean nursing students. 3) A follow-up study is necessary to discover and verify the effects of variables other than ego-resilience and self-efficacy, which affect nursing students’ department satisfaction. 4) It is necessary to develop programs for enhancing nursing students' optimistic attitude and ego-resilience, which will result in their higher department satisfaction.
