In recent years, because of terrorist attack or accidents, explosion are frequently happed around the world. In order to prevent such accidents caused all kinds of life and property damage, possible damage and destruction caused by the blast load should be considered in building design. In addition, in order to reduce environmental pollution or funding for research, recently test was primarily accomplished through computer analysis. On the other hand, increase in simulation capabilities and sophisticated simulation tools make numerical simulations more accurate and reliable, as well as field experiments. In this study, ABAQUS 6.11 was used to simulate a finite element modeling for the column with material properties of rebar, hooping and concrete. A column model and a building model would be created in this study. The result of two model would be constrasted and the influence of the whole building would be considered. The main purpose of the analysis is to find out the maximum displacement and study influence on the concrete column under the blast load.-
