- Abstract
- Through the theoretical approach to optical property of the selective near-infrared region absorption film, the factors influencing the absorption performance of the selective near-infrared region absorption film were predicted. Also, by varying the coating method for the experimental confirmation of such factors, influences of the predicted factors over the absorption performance of the near-infrared region absorption film.
The films with effective absorption property in near-infrared(NIR) region based on cesium doped tungsten oxides nanoparticles was manufactured using double layer coating and general composite coating method. The optical performance was evaluated; the double layer coated film exhibited 10% transmittance at 1000nm in the NIR region and over 80% transmittance at 550nm in the visible region. Double layer film has excellently optical property than composite layer film. Through comparing the composite and double layer coating merhod, the difference of the nanoscale distance between nanoparticles in the each layer was significantly revealed. It is worth noting that the nano-distance between the nanopaticles decreased in the double layer film, which enhanced the optical properties of the film, yielding a haze value of 1% or less without any additional process. These results are very attractive for the double layer coating process, which would lead to industrial fields of NIR shielding, construction and thermo-medical applications.
