Abstract
The optimum solar fraction was derived in this study to establish the net zero energy system with the liquid desiccant and indirect/direct evaporative cooling-assisted 100% outdoor air system or LD-IDECOAS with the application of the PV/T (Photovoltaic-thermal) as the new renewable energy system. To this end, a PV/T system energy production prediction model was developed to estimate the heat and electric energy generated at the PV/T depending on the solar radiation and weather conditions. Based on the developed model, the optimum solar fraction process was introduced for the net zero energy system when the LD-IDECOAS with applied PV/T system was used in various location with different climate.
