dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents a design of Internet of Things (IoT) based fire evacuation guidance system with indoor localization in subway stations. IoT-based wireless network involves a wide range of fields, has better application of expansion. IoT is a rather new technology which will completely fulfill these fundamental requirements. The IoT beacons have been designed with 2 modes, one is the normal mode and another one is the disaster mode. In the fire mode, there are 3 fire levels divided to adapt to the different disaster situations according to the different time periods. And also several experiments have been done to verify the performance of our self-designed system. | - |
