Abstract
To use coal ash at mine reclamation sites, its environmental impacts must be considered when deciding whether or not to proceed with a project. Therefore, in this research, a leaching framework for assessing environmental Impact for using coal ash at mine reclamation sites in Korea is presented. This leaching assessment framework can provide guidance in designing more realistic leaching procedures appropriate to mine conditions and can support the development of regulation and protocols for the environment-friendly use of coal ash at mine reclamation sites in Korea.
