Abstract
The Manual transmission has the high transmission efficiency and fuel-efficient advantages. Today, Manual transmission is still used in many machinery including trucks and commercial vehicles. All of manual transmissions have synchronizer to change the speed of output shaft. The synchronizer is one of the main parts in the transmission system. That is related to shift quality and shift feeling. The synchronizer mechanisms allow gear changing in a smooth way, noiseless and without vibrations. The basic dynamic model has lots of noise and long analysis time, cannot changes the basic parameters of model. This paper will use 3D CAD to develop 2D-Contact model. Using basic 3D-Contact verify the correctness of the 2D-Contact model. And study of the synchronization processes by 2D-Contact model.
