Two new species of Sarsamphiascus Huys, 2009 were collected from sandy sediments on Jeju Island, Korea and Hawaii, United States of America. They are morphologically most closely related to Sarsamphiascus kawamurai (Ueda & Nagai, 2005). However, these species were distinguishable by the combination of the following morphological characteristics: S. sp.1 from Jeju, the position of inner seta of female P5 exopod (more proximal in S. kawamurai), the terminal caudal setae with ornamentation (naked in S. kawamurai), and the length of inner caudal seta (slightly shorter in S. kawamurai); S. sp.2 from Hawaii, the elongated segments of antennule in the new species, the position of inner seta of P5 exopod in both sexes (more proximal in S. kawamurai), the genital double-somite with rows of spinules on ventrolateral surface (without in S. kawamurai), the caudal ramus with few spinules along the distal margin (without in S. kawamurai), P5 of female with seven setae (six setae in S. kawamurai), and the terminal caudal setae with ornamentation (naked in S. kawamurai). S. sp.1 is the fifth member of Sarsamphiascus from Korea. S. sp.2 is the first species of Sarsamphiascus from Hawaii.-
