대학생의 인지적 유연성과 대학생활 적응 및 우울의 관계: 진로미결정의 매개 효과 검증

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생의 인지적 유연성이 대학생활적응과 우울에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 확인하고 이 과정에서 진로미결정이 매개역할을 하는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학생 479명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 불성실한 응답을 한 19명을 제외하여 총460명의 자료를 분석하였다. 먼저 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석 및 구조모형 검증을 실시하였고, 매개효과 분석을 위해 부트스트랩(Bootstrap)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 대안적 인지유연성과 통제적 인지유연성 모두 대학생활적응과 유의한 정적 상관을 보였고 우울과는 부적으로 관련됨을 확인하였다. 또한 통제적 인지유연성은 대학생활적응 및 우울과 모두 높은 상관을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대안적 인지유연성은 대학생활적응에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 동시에 진로미결정을 매개로 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 통제적 인지유연성은 대학생활적응과 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미치기는 하지만 이 과정에서 진로미결정의 매개효과는 발견할 수 없었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 하여 인지적 유연성과 진로미결정이 대학생활적응 및 우울에 영향을 미치는 과정을 이해하고, 학교와 상담기관 같은 실무현장에서 대학생활부적응과 우울을 호소하는 내담자들을 도울 수 있는 방안에 대해 논의하였다. The purpose of the study was to investigate the relations between cognitive flexibility, college students"s adjustment, depression and the mediating role of career indecision in these relations. For this study, 460 college students were recruited. Results were as follows. First, cognitive flexibility was positively associated with college student"s adjustment and negatively associated with depression. Second, career indecision was negatively associated with college adjustment and positively associated with depression. Third, career indecision was mediated the relation of cognitive flexibility_alternative with college students" adjustment and depression. But career indecision was not mediated the relation of cognitive flexibility_control with college students" adjustment and depression Finally, meaning and limitation of this research and implication to counseling strategies and intervention were discussed in detail.
