사회역학적 행동경제학적 관점에 비추어 본 대안적 수업설계 방향과 전략수립 논의

Abstract

본 연구는 수업설계의 이론적, 방법론적 혁신을 위해 의학 분야의 사회역학 연구의 문제의식과 경제학 분야의 행동경제학적 방법론을 수업설계에 접목하는 것을 통해 대안적 수업설계의 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 사회역학은 질병의 원인을 개인의 생리학적 특성보다는 그 사람이 속한 사회구조적 맥락 속에서 찾아야 한다는 접근법을 취하는 방법론이며, 행동경제학은 인간은 이기적이고 합리적인 계산 주체라는 고전경제학의 전제를 의심하면서 제한된 합리성을 바탕으로 행동하는 인간에 주목한 경제학 이론이다. 사회역학의 문제의식은 학습장애를 바라보는데 있어서 기존의 수업설계의 한계가 무엇인지 성찰할 수 있게 하며, 행동경제학의 방법론은 건강한 학습을 촉진하기 위한 방법론적 시사점을 제공한다. 본 연구에서는 사회역학의 시사점에서 (1) 학습 생태계라는 총체적 관점을 기초로 하는 생태학적 수업설계 (2) 학습자 행동의 사회적 맥락을 고려하는 사회적 수업설계 (3) 학습자 및 학습환경 분석을 다양한 위계에서 진행하는 다수준적 수업설계 (4) 한시적 효과 발휘를 넘어서기 위한 통시적 접근으로서의 생애과정적 수업설계라는 4가지 방향성을 도출하였다. 이와 함께 행동경제학의 방법론에서는 (1) 학습자가 얻어야 할 필수 경험을 제공하기 위한 디폴트 설계 (2) 학습자와 학습환경의 상호작용을 디자인하는 어포던스 설계 (3) 탈맥락적 보상이 아닌 학습자의 지속적 성장을 지원하는 피드백루프 설계 (4) 사고틀을 형성하는 초기 경험에 주목하는 일관성 설계의 전략을 도출하였다. 최종적으로 도출된 방향-전략을 토대로 수업설계를 위한 지침을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 기존의 수업설계에 대해 (1) 기저 이론의 변화가 주는 수업설계의 변화 (2) 수업설계의 과정 및 방법의 변화 가능성 (3) 수업설계자의 역할 및 핵심역량의 변화 필요성을 확인하였으며, 미래의 수업설계에 대한 청사진을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of alternative instructional design by combining the theoretical concept of social-epidemiology and behavioral economics to instructional design. Social epidemiology is a methodology that takes the approach of finding the cause of an illness in the social structural context. Behavioral economics is a theory focuses the characteristics of human beings who choose and act on the basis of limited rationality. Insight of social epidemiology is to be able to reflect on the limitations of existing instructional design in the view of learning disabilities, and the methodology of behavioral economics provides methodological implications for promoting healthy learning. In this study, the implications of social epidemiology in instructional design are as follows: (1) ecological instructional design, (2) social instructional design (3) multi-level instructional design (4) lifelong instructional design. In addition, in the methodology of behavioral economics, (1) default design to provide essential experience to learners, (2) affordance design to design interaction between learners and environment, (3) feedback loop design to support continuous growth of learners, (4) coherent design that focuses on the early experience which constructs a learner's thinking frame. The four directions and four strategies are matched in the order of direction and strategy, and finally it is derived as a guide for alternative instructional design. Through this study, we presented to existing instructional designs (1) the change in instructional design as a change in underlying theory (2) the possibility of methodological changes in instructional design (3) the role of ISDer in the future.
