대안적 부모교육 프로그램의 개념적 관계망 개발을 위한 질적 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 대안적 부모 교육프로그램이 지향해야 할 바를 질적 연구방법을 통하여 확인하고, 이를 기반으로 선행연구 및 이론들과의 관계성을 논의하고 나아가 대안적 부모교육 프로그램이 지향하고자 하는 개념적 관계망을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 부모이며 부모교육강사인 7인의 연구 참여자를 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였고, Colaizzi(1978)의 분석방법에 근거하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 의미 있는 진술들은 33가지의 주제와 14가지의 주제모음, 4가지의 범주로 구분되었으며, 4가지의 범주에는 부모로서의 행복인 ‘목적’과 커리큘럼 및 전문성과 연계된 ‘체계’, 부모로서의 역할과 관련된 ‘내용’, 평생교육적 특성을 드러내는 ‘운영’의 측면이 드러났다. 이는 특히 Heidegger의 기초 존재론과 Frankl의 로고테라피, Schön의 실천적 인식론과 깊은 관련을 보였다. 대안적 부모교육 프로그램은 부모 자신과 자녀들에 대한 이해를 출발점으로 하는, 복잡한 양육 맥락에서의 상호 영향관계에 대한 통찰과 실천을 위한 포괄적인 과정이었다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 부모교육 및 부모교육 프로그램에 대하여 개인적·사회적·국가적 차원에서의 세 가지 제언을 하였다. This study is to develop the web of conceptual relations by confirming the orientations of a alternative parent education program through a qualitative research method, and by discussing the relations with previous researches and theories. For this purpose, in-depth person-to-person interviews were conducted with 7 research participants who have been parents and parent education instructors. Adopting Colaizzi’s (1978) analytic guideline, there were 33 themes, 14 theme clusters, and 4 categories. The 4 categories were revealed: ‘purposes’ associated with happiness of parents, ‘systems' related to curriculum and professionalism, ‘contents' related to role of parents, and ‘operations' in aspects of lifelong educational characteristics. This result was particularly relevant to Heidegger's fundamental ontology, Frankl's logotherapy, and Schön's practical epistemology. The alternative parent education program was based on understanding of the parents themselves and their children. And It was a process of insight and practice on the mutual influence relations in the complex parenting context. Based on this result, we made recommendations on parent education and parent education programs at individual, social, and national levels.
