Abstract
This study aimed to measure the impact of environmental service of the contract food service management company, given that catering service has been growing recently. Thus, the casual relationship among perceived crowding, noise, satisfaction, and behavioral intention was investigated with the university students using school cafeteria run by given company. Following the exploratory factor analysis, it was found that perceived crowding can be divided into two factors (i.g., perceived human crowding and perceived spatial crowding) while noise, satisfaction, and behavioral intention consist of each single factor. The regression analysis results revealed that perceived spatial crowding negatively affects satisfaction whereas perceived human crowding has no significant effect on satisfaction. It was also found that noise has negative effect on satisfaction and lastly, satisfaction has positive effect on behavioral intention. Based on these key findings, this study discusses theoretical and practical implications in the latter part of this article.
