dc.description.abstractThis paper presents micro specimen aligning system and micro tensile test system for a reliability evaluation and measurement of mechanical property of materials. As micro tensile testing specimen is getting smaller, large bending variation and error to the undesirable direction are caused by a very small misalignment. This misalignment problem directly affects the reliability of micro mechanical property data. The proposed micro specimen aligning method can precisely evaluate reliability without misalignment problem. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.en_US
