공공기관 프로젝트관리 조직의 효율성 제고에 관한 연구 - 한국철도시설공단을 중심으로

Abstract

These days, environment of domestic industries becomes more complicated and diversified day by day. Under these situations, project management(PM) is getting popular. Project management means a systematic management technique for managing various independent projects efficiently under rapidly changing environment. Recently, project management is introduced positively by general companies as well as public institutions implementing various public projects of the government and through this, significant accomplishments are being created. However, in case of public institutions lacking flexibility of organization compared to general companies, project management organizations which are subjects of project management still have lots of problems and limitations. This thesis is to review problems and direction of solutions through a case study of Korea Rail Network Authority, which is carrying out the most exemplary project management among domestic public institutions and also to suggest an organizational model enabling to enhance the efficiency of project management organizations.
