Abstract
This paper is to examine the work which is the artistic expression in the form of clothes and the work which is exhibited in the art-gallery as the work of modern designer. The theoretical study of this paper is based on the argument and historical approach of the body. The purpose of this study is to interpret the meaning of clothes which has appeared since the 1990's and to examine the meaning of clothes which expressed the message by the various methods. As the body and spirit have a mutual relationship, the expression of body through the clothes is the direct expression of the spirit. The closest mirror of body is clothes and clothes always do the body as a hypothesis. For conveying the meaning, the artists create the various expression-method not by the body as biological being but by the clothes slipped on the body. The expression of body is changed through the stream of times and the clothes is the best way to deform the body. Accordingly the clothes as the artistic expression put down the roots as artistic language which represent the times and the mutual relationship of art and clothes bring about new potential synergy by the creative expression-method. In this wise we observed that the clothes showed the symbolization of human mind and expressed the self-identity. Through the this paper, we examine that the clothes is the best way to deform the body and this raises aesthetical effects. The clothes is the artistic language which show a period through the aesthetical gladness, curiosity, interest, impact given by the expressive form of artist.
