dc.description.abstractIn this paper, the rotordynamic analysis of a high-speed axial-flux type permanent magnet rotor is presented. The axial flux type rotor is designed for the flywheel energy storage system. The analysis is based on the critical speed calculations and bending mode analysis using finite element method (FEM). The dual rotor model is analyzed considering the effect of bearing and the results are presented in this paper.en_US
