Abstract
This paper explores how design can develop an innovatory practice that builds the skills needed to design with cultural sensitivity. It is relevant to designers, researchers, and developers interested in extending the capabilities of innovating in relationship to culture. This paper presents a series of learning projects and outcomes that demonstrate the development of a cultural design tool. The project took place between Goldsmiths University of London in the United Kingdom and (KDM) Korean Design Membership in South Korea. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016.
