dc.description.abstractRecently generation of a 3D human body model for ergonomics design is becoming more important part. Many studies reflected physical details of a model such as height, weight, age and gender have been performed. However most of the human models used in such fields have not been reflected physical details of Korean because of based on European or American bodies. Therefore it has been reported that engineering analysis and simulation results for Koreans are not proper. In this paper, we propose a parametric human body model representing somatotype based on anthropometric data of Korean. For this, we divide somatotype of human body by cluster analysis and parameterize human body dimensions by multiple regression analysis to represent different body shapes based on height and weight.en_US
