dc.description.abstractRecent earthquakes such as Gyeongju and Pohang earthquake have occurred in Korea. It is very important to predict the magnitude of earthquake and to apply in the design of the structure. The existing seismic hazard map has disadvantages that it does not provide representative annual earthquake occurrence probability information of each grid and it does not fully reflect the diversity of the ground with one application of attenuation relationship. Also, the fault on the Korean Peninsula has not been investigated precisely to the extent that it can be used to set up an earthquake scenario including the judgment of activity except for the Yangsan fault. In the seismic environment with large uncertainties such as seismic source, propagation path, site effect, etc., seismic wave selection and correction through probabilistic seismic hazard analysis considering uncertainty rather than production of seismic waves depending on the physical properties and seismic records of the fault are suitable. Therefore, in this study, the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis performs the seismic risk assessment by using the attenuation relationship corresponding to the 2013 National Seismic Hazard Map and KBC (2016). Various attenuation relationships are analyzed and selected for the seismic environments in Korea. The selected attenuation relationships are used to derive the correlation relationship between the magnitude and the frequency of occurrence. Through the deaggregation of the largest earthquake (return period 4800years) in seismic hazard map, earthquake show the largest contribution at magnitude of 6.5~7.0 and distance of 10~30km.-
