국악 관현악단과 오케스트라를 위한 『무위(無爲)』에 관한 분석 및 연구

Abstract

This paper analyzed <Muwi> composed by Taekyu Yoon for traditional orchestra and orchestra. This music was composed when the composer was interested in Korean classical music and oriental philosophy and tried to use both Western and Korean instrument to express the idea. This paper analyzed how the Western and Korean instruments were combined, and what technique and musical material did the composer used to express natural and oriental color along with the concept of “Muwi” The introduction suggested summary of the music, purpose and method of study, and in the body, Lao-Tzu's philosophy that was the musical material of the piece and the concept of “Muwi”, and the difference of thinking between oriental and western philosophy were summarized. Focusing on the format, melody, scale, rhythm, tempo, special playing technique, harmony and comparison, it suggested entire outline and partial outline. Then, based on the analysis, the study conducted in-depth analysis on how the composer unraveled the above elements. The conclusion organized entire results based on study method and purpose. The format of music was classified through contradistinctive elements in accordance with configuration method of the instrument, motif, tone by the intention of the composer. The first movement was classified to 5 phases and 9 sub-phases, the second movement was classified to 4 phases and 6 sub-phases and finally, the third movement was classified to 4 phases and no sub-phase. This paper researched the process of converting description about idle nature, the idea of Lao-Tzu and idea about the difference of western and oriental thinking into music using musical expression referred above. In the first part of paper 『Muwi』 for traditional orchestra and orchestra was analyzed, and the second part presented the full score.; 본 논문은 윤태규 작곡의 국악관현악단과 오케스트라를 위한 <무위(無爲)>를 분석한 것이다. 이 작품은 작곡자가 창작 당시 국악과 동양철학에 관심을 가지고 있던 시기에 작곡되어 그러한 색채를 서양악기와 국악기를 함께 사용하여 표현해보고자 했다. 작품 내에서 서양악기와 국악기가 어떠한 방식으로 조합되었는지, 어떠한 특수주법과 음재료를 사용하여서 작곡자가 생각한 무위사상 및 자연 및 동양의 색채를 표현하였는지에 관하여 분석하였다. 서론에서 작품 개요와 연구 목적 및 방법을 제시하며, 본론에서는 작품의 음악적 소재인 노자의 철학관과 무위(無爲)사상, 동양철학과 서양철학의 사유 차이를 정리하였고, 형식, 선율 및 음계, 화성, 리듬 및 장단, 특수주법, 조화와 대비를 중심으로 하여 전체 개요와 부분별 개요를 제시한다. 이후 개요 분석을 토대로 하여 1악장의 심층 분석으로 작곡자가 위의 요소들을 어떻게 풀어냈는지 심층 분석하였다. 결론에서는 연구방법과 목적에 의한 전체적인 결과를 정리하였다. 작품의 형식은 작곡가의 의도에 따른 악기의 구성방식, 음형, 음색에 따른 대비적 요소를 통해 구분하였다. 1악장은 총 5개의 단락과 9개의 하위단락으로 나뉘며, 2악장은 4개의 단락과 6개의 하위단락으로 나뉜다. 마지막 3악장은 별도의 하위단락 없이 4개의 단락으로 구성된다. 본 논문은 앞서 언급된 음악어법들을 사용하여 노자의 사상인 무위자연(無爲自然)상태의 자연의 묘사와 서양과 동양의 사유차이에 관한 아이디어를 음악으로 전환하는 과정에 대해 연구하였다. 논문의 제 1부에서는 국악관현악단과 오케스트라를 위한 『무위(無爲)』를 분석하였고, 제 2부에서는 총보를 제시하였다.
