Intracranial Convexity Lipoma with Massive Calcification: Case Report

Abstract

두개강 내의 지방종은 두개강 내의 종양 중 약 0.5%의 발생 빈도를 보이는 매우 드문 질환이며 주로 뇌량 뇌조에서 발생한다. 저자들은 혈관 기형이나 선천성 기형을 동반하지 않으며, 다량의 석회화를 동반하고 매우 드문 위치인 두정부궁륭부에 발생한 지방종에 대해 보고하고자 한다.Intracranial lipoma is a rare entity, accounting for less than 0.5% of intracranial tumors, which usually develops in the callosal cisterns. We report a case of lipoma with an unusual location; in the high parietal convexity combined with massive calcification, and no underlying vascular malformation or congenital anomaly.
