Abstract
Due to the convergence and development of automotive industrial technology and information technology (IT), services are being provided such as infotainment, safety and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for drivers. However, these services are limited in applications to static platforms, so the ideal applications should include portability in vehicular development environments. The Open Services Gateway initiative (OSGi) platform, which is based on Java, demonstrates excellent portability in fields such as home gateways and vehicular platforms with IT. In this paper, we introduce a dynamic OSGi platform that applies to many services and configured a class diagram to design a controller area network (CAN) interface bundle for vehicular applications. Finally, we implemented bundle function based on the OSGi framework.
