Abstract
This paper presents a study on current vector control and feeding sinusoidal current for reducing errors of inductance measurement. Inductance is important parameter, which take significant effect on machine performance characteristics. In order to measure the inductance, no-load and load test are performed. However, the inductance is different to measure accurately, obvious errors always occurs between finite element analysis and experimental results. Therefore, the experimental study on the vector control strategy for improving the measurement is necessary. In this study, the measurement errors of the inductance are reduced by correcting current phase angle and inputting sinusoidal current.
