- Abstract
- This study is conducted on gambling users protection policies in Korea and other major countries. Centering on gambling users protection policies such as electronic card, online gambling, quantity limits system and external sales office. this study is conducted with Matrix Analysis on total of 8 subjects. Korea and other major countries have introduced an electronic card system for protection of their gambling users. most countries are running online gambilng and implementing the quantity limits system to minimize its side-effects of the gambling industry on their society, and the total emission has a variety of regulations. It was found that an external sales facilities in other major countries operated by private commissioners, instead of directly being operated by gambling business who have the subsidiary facilities for entertainment. In overall, Korea and other major countries can be classified as countries of expansion of public finance, regulation-eclecticism and User Protection. The study reviewed any problems the Korean policy for protection of gambling users has posed and suggests practical indication for improvement based on these research results.
