Abstract
The article discusses research on the effectiveness of tacrolimus 0.1% ointment in the treatment of allergic contact dermatitis (ACD). The macrolactam immunosuppressant has been shown to prevent the calcineurin expression of genes for producing cytokine production and activating T lymphocyte. Findings demonstrated tacrolimus as safe and effective for ACD treatment.
