dc.description.abstractThe cooperative communication systems in vehicular environment should be quite expected to make the driving more safety and convenience. Nevertheless, it is very hard to evaluate and measure on the effect of new safety application in the real situation. This paper presents a novel integrated simulator for design and verification of communication protocols and safety applications in reliable vehicular environments. The simulator supports the full function of IEEE802.11p and WAVE (Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment) protocol stack which are generally accepted for vehicular communication systems. Especially, the simulator provides the function of performance evaluations that engineers can measure the effect of new safety application in vehicular environment without testing it in real world.en_US
