관광지 스토리텔링 형성과정에 대한 고찰: 아스만의 문화적 기억 관점을 중심으로

Abstract

연구는 아스만의 문화적 기억 관점에서 관광지 스토리텔링 형성과정의 이론적 체계화를 시도하여 관광지와 장소성의 관계를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 즉, 사람들에게 역사ㆍ문화적 의미를 전달하고 이에 대한 공유를 가능하게 하는 매체로서 장소를 해석한 아스만의 관점을 통해 관광지라는 장소가 가진 스토리의 서술체계를 제시함으로써 관광지와 관광객들 간의 장소성 공유와 상호작용을 이해하고자 하였다. 관광지 스토리텔링은 일반적으로 장소성 파악, 스토리 기획, 스토리 구축, 스토리텔링의 단계로 진행되는데, 본 연구에서는 아스만의 관점을 도입하여 관광지의 장소성과 문화적 기억 공유 유형에 대한 이론적 접근을 시도하였고, 문화적 기억을 통한 관광지 스토리텔링 체계 모형(DSCM)을 제시하였다. 본 모형에서 제시한 관광지 스토리텔링은 관광지에 내재된 문화적 기억을 소재화 하고 이를 활용한 스토리를 기획ㆍ구축하여 방문객에게 전달하는 과정으로 체계화될 수 있다. In this study, the theoretical systemisation of the storytelling forming process attempted to organise relationship between tourist destination and placeness from Aleida Assmann's own cultural memory perspective. In other words, Assman's perspective interpreted places which cultural and historical meaning convey to visitors as well as share the media. Furthermore, between tourist's destinations and visitors to interact with a shared sense of place was to understand thorough sytemisation of storytelling. In general, tourists' destinations of storytelling was progressed the stage of story planning, story building, and storytelling, however, the study introduced Assman's perspective which attempted theoretical approach about placeness of tourists' destinations and shared cultural memories. Also, tourists' destinations storytelling system model (DSCM: Destination Storytelling based on Cultural Memory) towards the cultural memory was presented. The proposed model of tourists' destinations storytelling was used for planing and building the story for progress of conveying to visitors.
