여가제약과 여가동기의 구조적 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 여가제약과 여가동기의 구조적인 관계를 탐구하였다. 자료는 세계레저총회가 열리는 강원도 춘천시에서 218명의 지역주민으로부터 수집되었다. 연구모형과 가설을 검정하기 위하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형이 사용되었다. 연구결과, 오직 내적 제약만이 여가동기에 부정적인 관계를 갖고 있었으며, 대인적 제약은 여가동기와 오히려 긍정적인 관계를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 구조적 제약은 여가동기와 유의한 관계를 보이지 않았다. 모형비교의 경우, 본 연구에서 제안한 모형(제약 → 동기)이 경쟁모형(동기 → 제약)보다 우수한 적합도를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 여가관리자들이 내적 제약의 관리에 보다 중점을 두어야 한다는 것을 시사한다. 또한, 여가제약이 여가동기보다 선행변수라는 것을 지지하고 있다. This study examined the structural relationship between leisure constraint and leisure motivation. Based on the review of related literature, a structural model of the relationship from leisure constraint to motivation was proposed and it was compared with a competing model of the relationship from leisure motivation to leisure constraint. Data were collected from 218 parents or other family members of 9 school students of city of Chuncheon, the city of 2010 World Leisure Congress. Result of structural equation model analyses showed that only intrapersonal constraint negatively influenced leisure motivation, while interpersonal constraint positively influenced leisure motivation. In addition, no statistical relationship was found between the structural constraint and leisure motivation. Furthermore, the proposed model was superior to the competing model in terms of model fits. Results imply that leisure managers should focus on the management of intrapersonal constraint.
