dc.description.abstract | The information in today is more of dynamic than static information. Dynamic information is information that change continuously according to flowing of time. The dynamic information has organic feature, so it evolves continually within system or between system and user for the process of communication. This treatise was started in question about "how to visualize dynamic information that change continuously?". The method of processing and visualizing this dynamic information has a big difference compare with the method of visualizing the static information in the past. Of course, there is some similarities to certain extent but it is more correct or call complex mix of similarities and differences How about finding the visual method of processing that dynamic information and solving this issue within visual method? This thesis presents and analyze the valance, the anemone of Benjamin J. Fry`s methodology and the small Multiples and Micro/Macro Readings of the Edward R. Tufte`s methodology the method of using colors and also analyze the structure. With analysis of virtue, find effective methodology to visualize traffic information that is one of dynamic information.. Also, I prospect various possibilities for the processing of dynamic information and visualization of that. by example analysis of traffic information service that is serviced present, in VMS utilizable improved prototype one take. | - |
