Abstract
본 연구는 오버투어리즘의 대안으로 제안되고 있는 책임관광에 초점을 두고 도시명소에서의 관광객의 책임의식을 측정하고자 수행되었다. 환경관심과 규범활성화모델을 활용하여 ‘환경책임의식(CER)’을 구성하고, 이를 장소애착과 친환경행동의도의 매개요인으로 설정하였다. 여기에 방문지의 혼잡함이 환경책임의식과 친환경행동의도에 조절요인으로 작용할 것이라는 가설 또한 제시하였다. 본 연구를 위해 선행연구에서 검증된 문항들로 설문지를 구성하고 서울의 유명 명소 중 하나인 석촌호수 방문객을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 데이터(n=563)를 분석하여 CER이 장소애착과 친환경행동의도의 관계에 매개역할을 하고 있으며 혼잡요인의 조절요인으로 작용했음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 도시명소에서의 수용력과 방문자 관리를 위한 마케팅 전략구축이 중요함을 시사했다. 본 연구는 방문객들에 의해 도시명소에 다차원적인 장소애착이 형성되고, 그러한 방문객들이 환경책임의식과 환경친화적인 행동의도를 모두 가지게 됨을 보여주고 있으며, 지금까지 ‘책임있는 친환경행동’으로서 일반적인 친환경행동과 같은 척도를 사용해 측정되는 추세였던 환경책임의식을 기존과 달리 친환경행동과 구분하여 규범활성화모델을 활용하여 제시·측정하였다는데 의의가 있다.;The purpose of this study was measuring visitor consciousness about responsibility in urban tourist based on responsible tourism as an alternative concept of over tourism. This study applies the norm activation model with environmental concerns to analyze ‘consciousness of environmental responsibility (CER)’ and sets this as a mediator between place attachment and pro-environmental behavioral intentions (PEBI). This study used multi-item scales that have been verified in previous studies using basic sociodemographic questionnaires. Data was collected through field and online surveys from people who had visited Lake Seokchon, one of the most popular urban attractions in Seoul, Korea. Collected data (n=563) confirmed the mediating role of CER between place attachment and PEBI and showed the importance of both capacity management at urban attractions and the marketing strategy used to emphasize visitor outcome efficacy. This study theoretically contributes by showing that multidimensional place attachment is formed in an urban attraction site by visitors, and that those visitors have both a responsible consciousness and the intention to engage in pro-environmentally responsible tourism. The study suggests the concept of CER as a theoretical model of behavior, which has been discussed as responsible pro-environmental behavioral intention and adopts norm activation model theory and environmental concerns to enhance its explanation.
