dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a design scheme of sporadic real-time data in the Foundation Fieldbus. Probability that sporadic real-time data fail to be transferred within a real-time interval, is analyzed. The design introduced in this paper object is to limit the probability of the failure of sporadic real-time data transmission whithin a specified bound. Using the method developed in this study, we can predict performance of network system, and determine which parameters are to be adjusted in order to satisfy required performance of real-time transmission. The design scheme presented in this paper is validate using simulation model.en_US
