dc.description.abstract | A time-step control scheme is proposed for the generalized-α method which is an implicit time integration method for structural dynamics. A new simple and efficient local error estimator is developed based upon the local truncation error. Using the developed local error estimator, a time stepping strategy is applied to control time steps for the generalized-α method. | en_US |
